Kingsley Village Opens...
We've been keeping an eye on
this one for a while, this government funded development
is going to be a definite highlight for 2006. The Kingsley
Village is a showcase of local food, art, crafts, gifts
and household gifts. The food hall is supplied directly by
local farmers and producers – so you get to buy Cornish
food at its freshest. The craft hall has a multitude of
Cornish creativity inspired by the unique landscape and
long artistic heritage. It's situated about 30 minutes
from Helsbury on the A30 between Bodmin and Truro. Put it
on your list for this year.

Our Dog Dexter…
As the dog lovers amongst you
would have noticed our dog Dexter features quite a lot in
our marketing activity. On that basis we thought you
should see his web site, its more of a blog actually, a
place where we store images of Dexter showing off his
intelligence [or lack of], bravery, skills and general
behaviour. Please check the archives as well and feel free
to leave your comments.

Helsbury's Bluebells…
During the spring you will find
that there are spectacular blooms of wild flowers in many
of the county’s formal gardens. With Camellias and
Magnolias in March, Azaleas and Rhododendrons in April.
Indeed
Pencarrow, which is only a few miles from Helsbury,
has a wonderful display of snowdrops on the 29th of
January. Helsbury has its own version in May when
bluebells ‘blanket’ the whole of the woods. There are
literally acres of the pretty little flowers giving the
ancient woods a beautiful haze of blue. To check
availability for our dog friendly

New Look Web Site…
During 2005 we entered a number
of awards, we don’t do this just for the posh dinner you
get invited too, they have a much more meaningful outcome
– in terms of improvements. Having an independent group
assess your service offer or marketing activity is a great
way to identify improvements, and the most constructive
thing you can do is act on them. We've started on that
process by re-launching the Helsbury Park web site with a
number of improvements and enhancements. We hope you enjoy
it.
