Welcome to the Helsbury Park Enews...

You're receiving this email because you've either stayed with us, enquired about staying or requested a brochure. We try and keep you up to date with news from Helsbury and Cornwall, improvements to the services or site, availability and special offers throughout the year. We hope you enjoy reading it and as always, we welcome your feedback.

Xmas Bookings...

We'll be launching our marketing campaign for Christmas and New Year lettings at the end of August so if you're looking to come this year, don't delay. Helsbury's dog friendly cottages are wonderful at that time of year, with the log fires and traditional decorating it's a great place for a family gathering.

And if you're bringing the dogs walking them at Helsbury is as convenient as it gets, leaving you plenty of time to put your feet up and relax. All of the beaches allow dogs during the winter too, so that run on the beach on New Years Day is a wonderful way to start the year!

Finding Your Way...

Whether you're planning your journey to Helsbury or planning some days out while you're here this web site is invaluable. It takes a completely independent and unbiased view of the UK's transport system and give practical advice and logistical information for any journey being undertaken.

And more importantly it can also provide a genuine alternative using public transport. There is a map finder and it also gives predictive traffic patterns for the date and time you are travelling. Well worth a look...

New Arrival...

Leza will be on maternity leave any day now [we're not pretending to be in charge of that]. Please bear with us for the next couple of months, we'll answer emails and return calls as we go but we may not be able to provide a same day response. Thank you for your understanding during this time.

Interceltic Watersports Festival 2006...

The Interceltic Watersports Festival 2006 is a unique international Celtic event featuring watersports competitions, cultural activities, Celtic Markets and a Marine Market. It runs from the 24th to the 29th of July. The Festival is the only international event to combine sailing, surfing, kayaking, fixed and sliding seat rowing, diving, windsurfing and swimming.

More than 700 competitors from eleven Celtic regions from across Europe - including Cornwall, Isle of Man, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Brittany, Galicia, Asturias, Euskadi (Basque Country) and North Portugal - are due to take part in the 2006 Festival.

Alongside the watersports events there will also be a host of shore based activities including a diverse range of cultural events reflecting each participating region, markets where you can taste and buy a range of goods from each region, and a Marine Market showcasing some of Cornwall's best marine businesses.

It's definitely one for the diary for the future if you don't make it this year.

Availbility for Autumn 2006...

As the Summer is now well upon us our attention moves to the Autumn. We only have one week available for Autumn half term so if you're looking for an Autumn break give us a shout as soon as you can. Autumn is a wonderful time to come to Cornwall, the pace is less hectic, the best restaurants are more available and the weather can be stunning. The light for photography is superb and if you're that way inclined the Salmon are running in the River Camel, which of course runs through the land at Helsbury.

And remember, we take weekend bookings in off peak times and can offer our couples discount as well.
