Having refurbished the two barns this year we thought it was a good time to rename them to try and capture their character more effectively, and we'd really like your help. We've had a number of situations this year where our cottages have become available at very short notice. We already have a number of you on a list who are able to take advantage of this situation but we're planning to set up an email alert system to make it more effective. We've added a key element to our Dog Places page - we've given each walk a 'Dexter' rating. This gives you an idea of how dog friendly each place is based on his key criteria of number of dog bins, access, exploring potential and distance from Helsbury. If your dog has a view on the walks or can recommend any others in the area we would love to hear from you...

Half the fun of going on holiday is the planning of all the things you are going to do when you get there.
