Tourism
Awards for Helsbury We're very excited at the moment
as we've been shortlisted for a number of major awards
within the South West. As well as being a finalist for
Self Catering Holiday of the Year in both the South West
Excellence Awards and Cornish Tourism Awards, we also
have a nomination for our web site. This is a wonderful
accolade for us and our dog
friendly cottages and we're extremely pleased. The result
of the awards will be known in November so we're
keeping our fingers crossed.

Improvements
at Helsbury
We've big plans for the Helsbury
site and are making improvements as we go. The first,
which was completed this year, is the installation of a
large deck and gazebo around the pond. As we're now
leaving the pond area to grow wild it is becoming a
haven for all kinds of wildlife and flowers. Guests at
Helsbury are welcome to use the deck, it is a lovely
spot for picnics and is a real sun trap, as well as
being part of our own nature
trail.
