Each of the cottages at Helsbury Park is detached, and all have been
sympathetically renovated to retain many original features such as: ancient
beams; granite fire places; slate floors and exposed stone work. The
cottages are tastefully furnished and decorated to an excellent standard.
All have a TV, DVD, CD, video, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer,
and dishwasher. Each property has a separate utility room for
washing and drying clothes, and a WC on the ground floor.
The living rooms are luxurious and have open fires or wood-burners: ideal
for cosy evenings after a hard day’s relaxing. All also have oil fired
central heating including under floor heating in Westhayes and Marhayes. The
kitchens are beautifully finished with large family-sized fridges and ample
storage.
Westhayes and Marhayes
share an open plan front garden while Broadview has
a separate enclosed garden. Each has its own Bar-B-Q area,
and there's ample parking close to each property. All properties are fitted
with stair gates top and bottom where appropriate, and cots and high chairs
are available at no extra cost.
All of the cottages enjoy tremendous views from large picture windows;
which also provide a light and airy feel to this spacious and well equipped
accommodation.
The cottages will be ready for you by 4:00pm on the day of arrival. To
enable us to prepare the cottage and maintain our high standards we ask
guests to arrange to leave the property by 10:00am on the day of departure.
In deference to the many guests who do not smoke, we have a no-smoking
policy in all properties. It's our aim to provide an equal welcome for all our guests, disabled and able
bodied. We do not wish anyone to book a holiday that is unlikely to suit.
