Attractions: The Camel TrailThe Camel Trail is a unique feature of north Cornwall's attractions, it is a 20+ mile track which follows th path of an old railway line from the moor, near Helsbury, to Padstow. You can try and crack it one day but we find it's better to take it in small stretches so you can enjoy the amazing contrasts in the landscapes from start to finish. Some of the highlights are in the wooded valleys at Pooley's Bridge, Tressarett and Shellwood, the more mature river can be seen around Helland and Dunmere, and the final stretch from Wadebridge to Padstow [specifically Rick Stein's Chip Shop] is one of the must-do things whilst your on holiday here. You can cycle, ride horses or just walk your dogs, the trail is great for everyone and is enjoyed all year round.
