Cottages: Marhayes - Spacious, Luxurious and Dog Friendly!
Marhayes is one of our large converted stone barns. It offers spacious open
plan living downstairs and three generous en-suite bedrooms upstairs. Recently
refurbished using traditional materials such as slate and granite; Marhayes
mixes character with modern comfort.
Marhayes sleeps 6 in a double, a twin and a large double room. Two rooms have four
poster beds one of which is king-size. All the bedrooms have en-suite shower
rooms and there is an additional family bathroom downstairs.
A separate utility room with space for drying waterproofs or dogs makes this a
perfect base for families who love the outdoors. A terrace runs along the
whole front of the house with spectacular views, a bar-b-q and picnic table.
A range cooker, wood-burner and washer dryer all add to the feeling of a dream
home-from-home. Meanwhile traditional materials and exposed beams teamed with
high ceilings and light, modern decor provide rustic charm and room to
breathe.
Marhayes is built at right-angles with Westhayes
and they share an open-plan garden, with an enclosed area to the rear where dogs can be exercised in a controlled space. This balances privacy with convenience
should a larger family wish to use both properties. Meanwhile, our ‘couples
discount’ helps make Helsbury Park more affordable for the smaller family.
