Northcott Beach
Northcott beach is a beautiful dog friendly beach, next to Crooklets. It is the perfect alternative for you to bring your furry friend in periods when dogs are not allowed on beaches. It is also quieter than many other Bude beaches but is just as stunning.
Rock Pools
Northcott beach is full of rock pools for you to explore with your pooch. Some are even deep enough for them to swim allowing them to get in the water without going in the sometimes choppy sea. Rock pooling is such a fun activity to do alone, with your dog or with your kids. You could find sea snails (periwinkles), small fish like butterfish, or even crabs!
Cliff Walk
There is a beautiful cliff walk above Northcott beach which takes you to Crooklets. The view is beautiful and your dog will love all the new smells and exploring the natural environment can reduce stress. Cliff walks offer dogs fun exercise with varied terrain, helping their physical and mental wellness. Walks strengthen the bond between dogs and owners, providing a shared outdoor adventure. Keeping your dog on a lead on cliffs is a good safety precaution.
