“We had such a lovely stay at this very dog friendly property. The property has its very own expansive river frontage, bluebell woodlands, marshland and fields to explore. Our four-legged friends loved it. The cottage was spacious, well heated, clean and comfortable with dog friendly flooring and easy to close stair gates to stop them venturing upstairs. The grounds were beautifully maintained with mowed pathways to follow and well weeded flower beds and moss & fern laden living walls, so typical of this area. One day, I’d love to go back and stay a bit longer, it was definitely very me!”
“Our second visit to Helsbury Park and it was just as good as our first. A beautiful cottage with fantastic views. The pool was very popular with my children and we used it a lot as the weather was a bit hit and miss. The walks for the dogs straight from the cottage are great they have so much freedom. Looking forward to our next visit.”
“An amazing place for all the family. The grounds and facilities are fantastic. Not many places are happy to accept 5 dogs but Helsbury Park is so dog friendly and the walks from the doorstep are perfect. The accommodation is very comfortable and the kitchens are very well equipped. So many places to visit close by and a short drive to beaches. We will definitely return.”
“Travelling with 4 dogs is always a challenge but the unlimited dogs approach is true to its word. Great dog walking from the door. Large bedrooms all with en-suites ensures everyone had privacy and enough crockery to ensure we didn’t have to wash up every 5 minutes. We hope to visit again.”
“Fabulous Home from Home! Another wonderfully relaxing stay at Marhayes and as always the cottage was spotless. We noticed some new touches which just add to the comfort and country style of this lovely place. It was really helpful to be able to park so close to the back of the property and we appreciated being able to get such excellent WiFi in the cottage now. The dog loved the walks to the river and woods every day and even when the weather was unkind we had a fantastic time in the pool which would not be out of place in a top hotel. After 35 years of visiting Cornwall I do not believe there is better dog-friendly accommodation then Helsbury Park. Very special indeed!”
“What an amazing week! This was our third holiday at Helsbury Park and we always have the best time, with so much nature to enjoy we hardly left the site. We relished in the much needed family time with our three children and can’t wait to return again next year!”
“Helsbury Park exceeded our expectations, for our 4 Border Collie dogs this property provides the best dog walking area we have ever encountered, over 100 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside with a stream for them to cool down in with a beautiful forest to walk through. My wife scored the dog walking 15 out of 10!! And named part of the dog walk as in an ‘enchanted forest’ The holiday cottage was as expected and with the addition of a swimming pool which my daughter enjoyed all made for a great holiday break.”

“My friends and I had an amazing holiday break, there was something for everyone, the amenities were superb. The swimming pool was enormous fun, followed by a sauna for deep relaxation, whilst looking over the gorgeous Moor views. The cottage was comfortable and spacious. Plenty of room for everyone to prepare or help with meals and a log fire to die for, my favourite every time, 100% recommendation, my third visit this year!”
“An amazing property very spacious and clean. Our dogs thought they were in heaven with lovely walks in the woods and swimming in the stream every day. Garden very secure. The indoor swimming pool is overlooking stunning views This was our second visit we are booked again next year…love, love, love this place!”

“This cottage was amazing!! The grounds were perfect for both humans and dogs. We have reactive dogs, so the quiet and peaceful area and grounds were perfect for them. The scenery was fantastic. The kids loved the swimming pool and pool table. The cottage was home from home and well equipped. Will be booking again and thank you to the owners for a wonderful holiday.”

“Helsbury Park is an amazing cottage to stay in. We have been here for two weeks this year because we loved it so much last year. This is our second year here and we will be back again. It is so peaceful, relaxing and the pool is amazing. The place is so dog friendly. The house and grounds are so clean and well kept. Two big gardens for the dogs to run around and a dog kennel for when you go out. It’s definitely the best place to stay when you come to Cornwall with dogs.”
