Sip + Sea – doggy day out
Nestled behind the beautiful Northcott cliffs is a small but special cafe. Sip + Sea is a stunning location for a luxury lunch time sandwich or a delicious meal from a local food van. It is well worth a visit on a sunny day (as it is an outdoor venue).
The Food
Sip + Sea offers a range of their own food options, including a range of sandwiches, cakes, and breakfasts. They also frequently invite local food vans to come and serve lunch or dinner, displaying a wide variety of cuisines. Just some of the potential food options include Korean, Vietnamese, Barbecue, Sri Lankan, Lebanese and much more. They also serve a range of coffees, beers, soft drinks and ice creams. You are absolutely spoilt for choice.

The Entertainment
Sip + Sea often invite local artists to come and perform, showcasing some incredible local talent. They also hold open mic nights where every performer gets a free drink, so if you fancy demonstrating your own skill, go along and get involved! Sip + Sea frequently post on their facebook the different musicians that will be joining them so keep and eye out to find out who you can see when you are visiting Cornwall.
The Beach
Sip + Sea is situated at Northcott Beach. This beach is beautiful and stretches along the Bude Coast to meet Crooklets Beach, another lovely option to visit. You can swim, surf and walk your dog as Northcott is dog friendly all year round. There is also a cliff walk that goes all the way to Bude so you could tie your visit to Northcott in with a day of shopping in Bude.

Northcott Beach is a 40 minute drive from Helsbury. There is a National Trust Car Park, however, we would recommend parking at Crooklets car park in Bude and walking across the cliffs or beach to Northcott. It makes for a lovely, and most importantly a dog friendly, day out.
