Events this Summer in Cornwall

So many people love to come to Cornwall in the summer. With its beautiful beaches and amazing views, it truly is magical. Here are some ideas of Cornish events we like to do here during the summer months.

Open Studios

From the 27th of May to the 4th of June, Open Studios is a great opportunity for Cornish artists to showcase their work and for you to find new artists to follow, amazing pieces to buy or some inspiration for your own creative outlets. With artists all over Cornwall participating, you can find an Open Studio anywhere. You can also engage in workshops, for example, linocut printmaking with Lee Stevenson, making ceramic ring dishes with Michelle Foote and a glass fusion taster with Caroline Frith. With entertainers such as Adam All and Apple Derrieres, an icon British drag duo who are huge advocates for the LGBTQIA+ community, and Layla Zee Susan a “drag queen fabulosa!” The event was certainly one to remember. The next event will take place on May 27th in St. Austell and the final event on July 15th in Redruth, before Cornwall Pride on August 26th in Truro.
